Season’s Beatings

It’s that time of year again, and I’d like to write this very brief post.

MarvelHoliday

Merry Christmas everyone, and if you don’t celebrate Christmas, there’s always Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and if you don’t celebrate any of those, Happy Holidays anyways! This year has been very good. I hope if you’re reading this that you got lots of presents (even if you didn’t, enjoying yourself means more), gave lots of gifts, and spent good time with family and friends.

As for the special issue that came out this year: Season’s Beatings, it was pretty good. The set of characters is pretty interesting, there was some humor, and it was well-done (I personally haven’t read the X-Men: Christmas Special this year, and I might add my review of it below if I get the chance.) My only issue with some of it was that the art was pretty common, nothing special, it didn’t look realistic enough and was kind of cartoony. Overall, a solid read.

I’d like to personally share some of the comics that I got:

These were some pretty interesting storylines that I’ve known about for a while but never actually read and purchased them: First up I got:

Jane Foster Thor: Thunder In Her Veins:

I’d also like to thank everyone for giving the gift of giving so much support in the past few months with readers from all over the world. Once again, I hope everyone had a good holiday season, whether you went on vacation with family or just received gifts at home, or whether you just sat in your house spending time with friends, or anything among those lines. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and I wish everyone a great new year.
