Today, the great Stan Lee passed away. This will be another sad moment in history, and since this page revolves around Marvel, I’ve decided to give him a post.

Today, is truly a very sad day. Stan Lee is known to be the creator (writer) of Marvel comics. He’s had a huge impact on our society today, by inspiring dozens of films, and even a cinematic universe. Today, he died in Los Angeles. Stan Lee was truly a great person, who donated to many good causes, and is known to be completely anti-bullying and drug. He fought in WW2, and is a veteran. Stan Lee is an example of someone taking their passion, and pushing it, until one day, it’s worldwide and global. Stan kept his goals of life, and stuck with Marvel. While some people may think he just made comics, it’s more than that. He not only changed the world of superhero comics in general, but also other comics. He inspired the films we know and love, which give people enjoyment and happiness. He’s fought for our country, and donated millions. He has a family that he shows love for. Stan was more than just a comics writer, he was a hero.

Marvel comics and films have impacted my life, I’ve become a huge fan and I write about films and comics now, and I’m sure Marvel has impacted all of us in one way or another. The message here is to stick with what you want to do and what you enjoy, as Stan did with Spider-Man comics. His legacy will live on forever.
“I used to be embarrassed because I was just a comic-book writer while other people were building bridges or going on to medical careers. And then I began to realize: entertainment is one of the most important things in people’s lives. Without it they might go off the deep end. I feel that if you’re able to entertain people, you’re doing a good thing.” – Stan Lee, The Washington Post
“I wanted them to be diverse. The whole underlying principle of the X-Men was to try to be an anti-bigotry story to show there’s good in every person.” – Stan Lee, Comicbook.com.
“Life is never completely without its challenges.” – Stan Lee, Playboy
Thank you Stan, for everything you’ve done for me and the entire world.
